Must've got an early release for 'good behaviour'.

The English language is quite clear and everyone understands the meaning of the words "to make" except English Courts who use doublespeak to misinform the public. Chris Langham never made any images but downloaded them.

The police should concentrate on arresting those who make them and not the curious.

Alice,

The misuse of the English language is not "daft" but a deliberate distortion of the facts.

As I understand it Mike his Barrister based the appeal on two points of Law, one was because he didn,t pay to download, and the other was he was researching for a programme he was making, the appeal Judge dismissed both excuses, but still released him, saying it made no sense to keep him in chokey any longer.

He was not let off, he spent more than a month in jail.
Compare this to the criminals on police-camera-action who much more directly endanger peoples lives. When I hear about the punishment they are given I always think: is that all?
