Remember Ali Versus Antonio Inoki?

The thread about Evel Kenevil and some of his spectacular failures reminded me of another big event that shat its pants - the exhibition match between a Japanese wrestler and Muhummad Ali.

It was in 1976 and was promoted as the biggest thing ever. For almost the whole fight Inoki just layed on his back and kicked out whenever Ali came near him. That was it. I think Ali was declared the winner.

I was 16 at the time, and tended to believe all the hype suurounding this so I was expecting a big stinker of a fight. Anyone else remember this fizzog?
