Still touring... My lad, 17, and I watched it last night... we were both in tears of laughter.
I think I'm going to have to see if we can get to a live show before this man does a Tommy Cooper as he will just keep on working till he runs out of steam.
Pure legend and even tho' some of his jokes are very old, they're still funny.

He still makes jokes about that a decade and a half after it happened.

Well the "Audience with" last night was recorded in 1994 so the jokes he was making about his tax situation were current at the time.
Does not tell many "jokes" as such, but just does funny things, says funny things, and just thinks funny things.
In the routine he did with the ventriloquist dummy last night he was excellent, as good as any "pro", and the routine was funny as well.
Even if you are not a fan he is an amazing comedian. Last of the old school I suppose.
Most of the "post war" comedians have gone (those that came to fame after the second world war) such as Tommy Cooper, Frankie Howard, Benny Hill, Tony Hancock, Peter Sellars, Spike Milligan, Harry Secombe and so on.
Still we have people like Russel Brand taking their place (spit)
