As a Big Scorsese Fan i would say

1. Goodfellas
2. Raging Bull
3. Taxi Driver

The king of Comedy was also a good film and doesnt get the credit it deserves,

Goodfellas is flawless in every sense of the word, as is Taxi Driver and Raging Bull.

Gangs of New york is a mess but a bloody good mess at that. The continuity in that film just wound me up seeing as in college when I did film studies I was taught how its so unprofessional to do it and then I watch that and its all over the place.

For me the most enjoyable Scorsese film was After Hours. Its very different to everything he has done and I hacve a soft spot for Griffin Dunne but if we are talking best then it has to be Goodfellas.
