My father spent 2 & half years on the inside and I can tell you from what he's said it aint no picnic

Just imagine living everyday in FEAR for your safety and you'll understand what jail is really like

Don't forget jails are there for 2 purposes

1 Punishment

2 Rehabilitation

Forget the 2nd and they'll just re-offend because they have no other means

Tommy. Come on. I believe in punishment too but to object to criminals learning on the insid is to take away all hop for those who have been convicted.

I would like to think those who may have been rehabilitated successfully find something within themselves from wehat they have learned to redeem themselves by doing some good when they come out.

Some end up being youth case workers because they understand the young wayward youths and can communicate with them on that level.

Surely thats good right? Or would you prefr thay all cam out worse than they went in? That seems to be the big problem these days.
