Just watched the "brave, fearless" prince return........did you notice the 2 soldiers with him, especially the one behind him on the stairs...........i bet Gordon Browns good eye they are both SAS who have shadowed him from bog to barracks everyday.......

Nice if all our sons could have the same treatment..........especiall as the royals go to church and pray to a god that says "created man equal"

Also just out of interest, many years ago i flew with an ex RN helicopter pilot who was in the falklands with P Andrew.........did you know that andy was flying just the supply routes between ships and never flew over the islands until very very safe........

Who cares if he was being shadowed, as Sam said he had the perfect excuse to back and and chose not to. The fact they are in the military in the first place is honorable - fighting for the freedom of you whiney old bastards so you're tucked up safe at night. Harry and William I'm sure could've gone the paper pushing route.

Now, OK we aren't under any immediate threat right now in Britain, but I think that's all the more reason to commend our military and the men who volunteer for it. I don't think I could do the same in peacetime, only in some form of WW2 scenario would I want to get involved to be honest!
