How pissed off they must be that none of the supposed top 4 teams will be in the final!!
They must be pissed off that the semi finals at Wembley will only be two thirds full as well, but to a neutral fan, the final this year will be one to savour!
I think football fans across the world might switch off as well, especially all the plastic fans of Man Utd and Chelsea who live abroad.
I hope Portsmouth and Barnsley go all the way now, always liked Harry, and The Tykes last two games make them a certainty to make the final now.
But as for the corporate money making machine that is the F.A these days.........fuck 'em!

The Cup winner now must be a club that will not be in next year's Champions League- so there is a rela prize for winning the Cup- the UEFA Cup.
'Usually' these days, there is a Big 4 team playing a smaller club- so win or lose the smaler club know they are in the UEFA Cup the next year and in takes the shine off the game; and makes the game more boring.

Like colonel said,to qualify for the UEFA cup next season via the FA cup will take ALOT of hard work this time.
Ace is right to an extent about Wembley being half empty for the semi's,but that's the FA's fault for their greed in staging the semi's at Wembley,something i've always been against,regardless of who's in the semi's.
I regard myself as an 'old school' football fan and definetley will not switch off this year's final,unlike the 'Johnny come lately's','prawn sandwich' munching fans of my club and the likes of Yahnited,Liverpool etc.

I think they've done away with the rule that the runners up can qualify for the uefa cup and have now awarded it to a premier league place.

Where have you been the past 24 hours?
All the 'big 4',and most of the premiership teams are out of the FA cup,barring Pompey.

I know that the runner up will not qualify this season due to none of the big 4 being in the final. I was responding to the comment posted from Colonel.
