Top Gear is back.

Post by Trumpton »

Despite a rumour that the last series would be the last, and just to prove them wrong, it's back for a brand new series on Sunday 22 June 2008 on BBC2 at 20:00. !thumbsup!

Just as Monty Python and Fawlty Towers stayed fresh by doing limited numbers of shows, I think Top Gear might be better if they just brought out a few specials a year from now on.

Cars such as the Bugatti Veyron and the top SLK's are turning up too often. This might be an indication that they are running out of new subjects. Some of the 'stunts' look like they're struggling to make them interesting.

I'd like to see more people actually involved in the design of cars to answer for their crimes. Why most affordable cars have to look like washing machines is a question that bugs me. Perhaps they could locate the man responsible for the Peugeot's gaping mouth design and kill him and make a xylophone from his ribs.

I love Top Gear always have.
I know they now sell to the U.S. and have had to change the format, but I wish they would show more about cars and car stuff, rather then just racing all the time.

I love it when they take their little adventures in super cars.

Still I will be glued to the set, and waiting for the repeats on Dave.

Top Gear is a British institution
WZR should be in an institution

Go stand in the corner with your back to the rest of the class.
