Haircut One Hundred - 4 perfect singles & a very under-rated album inside 1 year
The Specials - 2 great albums, 7 singles of unbelievable quality & an iconic record label - all within 2 years
The Sex Pistols - Give or take some contractual obligations they had self-destructed 18 months after the infamous gig in Manchester, 13 months after they shocked a nation on ITV & 7 months after God Save The Queen

They're locking them up today, they're throwing away the key...I wonder who it be tomorrow, you or me?

Blind Faith -one amazing album, but sadly neither Clapton or Winwood wanted the adulation.

Fortunately, they do now- watch 'Clapton & Winwood' doing some US shows this summer etc.

Short in output, but that five year lapse between the two albums disqualifies them doesn't it ?

Which wasn't even their song, and they were absolutely dreadful, even worse than Kula Shaker at the time. I'm glad they vanished as well.

Shoulda gone the distance: Mansun/Gene.
