Mind you she had to get her point in that she was the first main presenter of Top Gear when it went nationwide, after they had shown the Noel Edmonds
clip where she briefly appeared.

What a surprise to learn Angela was born during the second world war.

Probably useless because she couldn't tell the difference between a gorilla, a griller and a guerrilla. Like most BBC presenters of the day they all talk in an effected manner. Today you just need a ridiculous regional accent, a lisp or some other speech impediment, or be a racial minority to get the job. Strange thing is most of the racial minorities seem to speak posher than the traditional white readers for some reason - although they keep the foreign sounding names. The BBC, ripping the viewers off and balancing the quotas to appear fair.
