Joe Clazaghe vs Roy Jones Jnr

Post by diceman »

I have been watching the 24/7 show leading up to this fight. This could actually be an intriguing battle.

The bookies and fight fraternity have Joe an easy winner, but Im not so sure and I will be taking advantage of the generous odds offered by the bookies for Mr Jone Jnr to cause an upset.

Its treu Roy has been knocked out twice in his later fights, but Im just not sure the slapping but effective style of Calzaghe will have enough power to do this again.

Jones Jnr is a superior boxer and although Joe has youth and less battles on his side - it is possible his last fight will also be his first defeat.

So ?50 on Jones Jnr to win, and ?25 on Jones Jnr to win by stoppage.

Getting ready to rumble,

Just to say - if you join bet365 as I did and stick ?25 on the fighter of your choice, they give you another ?25 for free to bet with, so you can have ?50 on your guy for only a ?25 stake.

Congrats to the Welsh Dragon!

Luckily I spent my free ?20 bet on the Gooners to beat the thugs. So a slight profit on this one. Phew.

prophetic words from number 6:
"Has jones jr ever been outboxed in a fight?? I don't think so,"

this certainly wasn't a thriller - to be honest at one time Jones Jnr would have knocked Calzaghe's head off (fighting at that weight) and a Calzaghe in his prime would have easily finished off Roy Jones Jnr last night.

I suspect that Calzaghe will have at least one more fight but the shape he was in THAT NEXT ONE will be his first defeat.

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?
