Alan Carr

Did Brand and Ross not teach anyone anything, there is a clear line between funny and distasteful and Carr has crosed it after dedicating his comedy award to Karen Matthews, what an absoulute plonker!

What is the world coming to when comedians can no longer be "sick and insensitive"?

Some people need to grow a pair of balls.

First and foremost I thought they were supposed to be funny ? Carr is just a Larry Grayson re-tread.

Oh, he's a shirtlifter?

In that case, I think he's a disgrace and ought to be censured in the strongest possible terms.

I am a little confused how Russell Brand got best standup - i'll spare my varied views on him...but I do believe his standup is the worst of his repetoire... surely in light of the live at the apollo series theres far superior standup comedians more worthy at the moment? frankie boyle, alan carr, michael mcintyre....all relatively recently newcomers to big league in the last yr....

ps - v. good to see frank skinner back....and funnier than ever before.

"Sick and insensitive" also needs to be funny if it wants to be seen as mere comedy. Otherwise it's merely sick and insensitive I suppose.

Mr Carr could've avoided all this if the comedy in his comment was actually discernable. It reminded me of children saying rude words, just because they can and think it's daring.

Karen Matthews has got 7 kids by 5 different fathers. Personally, I think that's fucking disgusting ... I mean, what pervert would want to shag her twice? Some blokes will stoop pretty low for a bit of pussy.
