You can't teach an old dog new tricks, but he'll be dead sooner rather than later - so in a way it doesn't matter. What he's said has been said, so it can't be changed - and what he says in the future will always be taken in the context of his crusty old aristocratic bigotry, in other words a complete load of bollocks
