Few MP's on the Republican side in NI have much of an income as far as I am aware. Gerry Adams claimed he earns the same as his driver, an 'industrial wage' as he called it. It has always been said that Martin McGuinness has lived his life largely in poverty, and would have been no worse off if he was on the dole. Adams and McGuinness both live in small Council houses in not the most salubrious areas of Belfast and Derry. I would imagine the Unionist MP's live quite nicely though - on a par with how the Conservatives do here in England.
