Totally agree. 393 stations of TOTAL SHIT. If it wasn't for the Military Channel, Dave, and the main 5, I'd torch the LCD.

The demise of TV can be quantified by the steady, but steep fall in advertising revenues incurred over the last 10 years.

I only watch films and sport nowadays - can't be bothered with the rest of it, occasionally put on a cooking show but even they seem to be getting less and less about cooking

Entertainment in general is a completely overhyped, overblown concept. It has its place but it is a form of escapism and too much of it is a bad thing. It is also hype that music changes peoples lives. Music is just music.

bbc4 is quality,as is the discovery channel and national geographic, the rest are on the whole garbage aimed at the braind dead as others have said. Channel 4 back in the 80s was the best channel ever, now look at it, a total insult to viewers inteligence.

Minder and Sweeney. In their day they were pretty good. Now they would be shyte because they had shyte actors.
Denis Waterman is the only one to have progressed, the rest fell by the wayside as they should have done.
John Thaw I hear someone say, he was a crap actor and just because he died early does not make me feel sorry for his widow, who is another crap actress.
But these are my views and I will not change them.
