So it was sarcasm. Good. I was afraid that if you'd been serious Rodders would have had you shot.

As for the severity of the recession, well, I can't argue against your point. I would like to point out, though, that I doubt the Tories would have regulated the banking/lending sector more than what Labour did.

Secondly, this recession is global. We're not the empire we once were and I don't think Labour's economic policies can be blamed for influencing the whole globe's financial meltdown.
