How did I know you'd mention Peterborough? I was thinking just the same yesterday as it shat snow for about two hours, then rained for an hour and then cunted it down all afternoon and most of the evening. If we hadn't had the rain/sleet in between times we would have been fucked.

take it your also a 'Boro' local then.lol - As i said, i dont really mind the actual snow itself ( 3 young kiddies so fun all round sledging etc) what gets my goat up is that we never really know when its coming, never prepared for it and everything shuts the fuck down as soon as one flake hits the cathedral - bad enough that this so called 'City' all but shuts down at 6.30pm anyways, but add bad weather and it just cant cope !grin!

BBC forecast yesterday was for Sunday to have a foggy start, then sleet.

We have approximately two inches of sleet on the ground this morning and it is still falling.
