Worst Job ever?

Post by Sarah Kelly »

I have been having some really weird, random thoughts in the morning,as i drift in and out of sleep..... Yesterday it was about tanks..Not water holding but the WW2 type? Today it was really awefull jobs,eg Can you imagine anything worse than being a Galley Slave? .... and i dont mean as a cook on a ship. I mean chained below deck on some Roman ship next to some bloke who pees and shits right beside yoiu and, even worse, probably snores in his sleep too! ..... So my question to you is a) Do you think there were any moments to look forward to as a galley slave and b) what would you think was a worst job?

Personally I could think of nothing more soul destroying than sitting on a till at Tesco or some other supermarket.

I don't think 'galley slave' is considered a job title. Unless they got holidays and the right to leave and stuff !happy!

Sam has hit the nail on the head.

I thought you were being whimsical given that ANY form of slavery cannot be considered as "having a job". I just added to the whimsy with my definition of a difficult job.

As for last night... yes I got home late having had a superb time photographing The Glitterband with special guests Angie Bowie and Adam Ant. Awesome gig!!
