You don't know how the paper got hold of this. By the sound of it Wayne wasn't being discreet, any number of people could have dropped a dime. The paper may have said to her that she could cooperate and get paid, or just get monstered. Who knows?

Perhaps Rooney did this with the full knowledge of his wife? After all, it was meant to relieve his urges while she was pregnant.

Apparently he's not going to fight for her if she wants to leave him. Also, unlike many other footballers, he's not tried to block the press from printing the story. Maybe he wanted the missus to find out. Seems a stupid way of telling her to 'fuck off' so maybe he also wants to hurt her publicly.....strange.
