Totally humiliated at the polls,rejected by the whole country,yet they have the nerve to carry on for another 4 years helping the tories destroy the NHS and welfare state. Total vermin every one of them.

The Scottish leader of the Lib Dems resigned today, putting the main reason for the fact that they got smashed (25 deposits lost) down to the decision to go into coalition with the Tories in Westminster. Mind the Scottish Labour party did really badly too.
Given 99% of the Lib Dem party members voted in the spring conference against Lansley's NHS bill which was not in the coalition agreement, if the Lib Dem leadership don't get the bill rewritten or shelved, the party could fall apart internally, on the basis that party members will think.... What is the point of being in coalition? We are getting hardly any Lib Dem policies implemented, we are propping up Tory policies that are completely against our values and we are taking a real kicking in the elections/polls?
I can see the potential for the Lib Dems pulling the plug on the agreement and only agreeing to policies which fit in with Lib Dem values under some confidence and supply agreement.
If I am right then Miliband needs to get a wriggle on with the party's policy reviews, in case Cameron goes for a snap election.

Scum and vermin aint the words I would use for the useless up their own arses nonentity wankers.
I have often wondered what is the point of the Liberal party as they will never ever form a government and can say anything they like for their manifesto knowing they will never have to impliment them.
