I was wondering (like you do): who first used this term for us lot 'ere?
I seem to associate it with Magoo.....or did he nick it from elsewhere?

Anyway a search fo the forum (message bodies, all dates) seems to reveal that the honour goes to woodgnome, swiftly taken up by magoo though -

Indeed twas Woody but I felt it a much more descriptive term than "posters". I cant take the credit for that one. It also lends itself to humourous biblical type posts eg "and lo it came to pass that several forumites from the Land of Porn did invoke the wrath of Mod Son Of BGAFD with thier o/t posts and Mod was angered and did rent these forumites asunder with a cutting remark about o/t in subject header and there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth."

I could of made this post funny if I had had a drink JJ! But believe it or not I have been sober since my dreadful hangover from Sundays binge. I just aint got the stamina to be a proper every night piss-head so I will just have to stick to binging at weekends. On a positive note I may get my place organised due to this period of sobriety or on the other hand I may just sit around watching TV and moaning about how untidy the place is.

On a kind of related topic, is it possible to list the regulars around here? Every time I come here there seem to be yet more 'silly' names, and I'm pretty sure that some of them are the same person - who are the regulars?

Ooops. Yes WG thats another thing I have placed on the back burner whilst I get the building site in which I reside back to resembling a home. I was tempted to make a start on it at work but then considered the possibility of nosey colleagues getting wind of it and labelling me a porn freak (a fair description I suppose). Can I just send it in the style of text that this post is written in and let you adjust size/style of text and headings etc to suit the site?

If its any consolation a couple of other people are also victims of my disorganisation. Thanks for your patience one and all..... smartarses like JJ included:.)
