Papillon DVD is given the title 'Istinto Fatal'.

There are five scenes [two with Rita] and although the film seems complete
it seems a little short at 79 minutes, if 'Poli C'Dile' is the alias for this
male the 'numbers' would add up:

BTW are you sure the tattoo is on the outside right calf. I found it difficult to place it from the picture at all until I realised it must be just above the ankle, but it looks as if it could be outside the left calf or inside the right???

BTW 2 Is the director Andrea Lucci or Axel Desisti (see cover)?

The 'outside right calf' was pretty much faute de mieux. I suppose
it's really between the shinbone and the fleshy part of the back of the
calf, and slightly above the ankle.
