Yes Alec, thank you. She is the one of the few rare French-Canadians that had a hc career in France/europe. On the mainstream cinema side there was Carole Laure (SWEET MOVIE-1974 in which she did hc scenes, and the critically acclaimed GET OUT YOUR HANDKERCHIEFS)

I think hungarian is the strangest, sounds like their having a conversation
about the internal workings of the combustion engine but in reality thats just the language...lots of talk to say very little

Private is the most international producer of hc and has been there perhaps since the dawn of golden age (ah that word again). Their product and label is highly recognizable and they sell all over the world.
They have deep pockets and large budgets for most of their movies. They shoot in far flung places and with a large international crew and female/male cast. Although they lately tend to shoot their larger-budget movies in English (see the Alassandro Del Mar ones), I suppose it is difficult for them to have everyone speak (and well enough) a specific language.
I don't pay that much attention any more, but I found their older titles very quaint: you had no clue what language anyone was speaking at any given time and you either had a French or English voice-over to explain what was going on. Their dubbing in various languages was perhaps not as professional and well executed as we expected, but they certainly were not going to invest large additional sums just so you could rave about it. Still they try better than anyone else in that field of work, and no mater how well executed foreign language dubbing may be, a John Wayne western would sound just as corny in Chinese, Hungarian, Greek, French, Spanish or Italian, etc. Still the English dubbing of THE GAMBLERS with Maria Loren is much much worse an unprofessional than anything I have heard from a Private movie.
If you are a lover of international mainstream movies, try to watch an Italian movie produced in the 40's, 50's, 60's. There was hardly any direct audio recording and when they brought the performers back in the studio to redub their voices, there was hardly any effort made to put it all in sync (too expensive, too time consuming, poor technology, I don't know...). The lips move one way and you hear something else altogether. Very unsettling.

dubbing or real sound doesnt really matter to me
Get rid of the awful acting,the bad dialogue,the voice overs,the laughable storylines(the fugitive and the crocodile to lives on in my memory as high comedy)and just concentrate on what people watch porn for,the sex

Well Deuce in the old days, filmmakers were passionate about making porn. As sleazy as it was, there was a certain amount of experimentation and professionalism both in front and back of the camera. Many of the performers came from stage and had taken acting classes. Directors had background in filmmaking.
What killed it all (talking about quality) was the the video revolution and the foresaking and pretence of a heavily plotted storyline when all you were really doing was showing people having sex. If you go through the movies of the golden era (both US and Euro) you will note many had rather humorous plotlines, probably inherited from the stag blue movies of yore.
I can't recall the last time I actually watched all the way through (without using the FWD button) or even slightly enjoyed a plotted dramatic hc movie. Gonzo all-sex movies have gotten coarser and coarser, and lame (people actually enjoy seeing a male actor spit into the mouth of a young woman? How many do actually do this ato home with their girlfriends/wives/lovers? Or push 4 fingers in their mouth, constantly slap their faces or buttocks, choke them).
Bad dubbing of both hc and mainstream movies has been there since the early days, and only adds to sorry state of hc cinema. I would easily take subtitles (for hc plotted movies) only if it were done right and only used for dialogued scenes (so you could folow the plot) and just leave the dirty talk in their original language. But who is listening?
