No problem Billy. It's only fair. I'm always at the end of an e-mail. After all it's guys like you who have made it possible for me to have a lifestyle I could never even have dreamt of. I really try not to forget that, and I would say it's an attitude that some other successful people in this business might like to adopt!! No names etc. Even though with so many producers in the UK now it's getting much more difficult for me than it was a few years back to put productions together, I was there at the beginning, when it was illegal. I went to jail, paid my 'dues' and luckily for me I'm now reaping the rewards, with no danger of finding myself back on 'B' wing in Brixton jail!! I remember back in 1976, as a struggling musician doing the club curcuit in the back of a Transit and all that crap. I used to live in a bedsit in Camberly and every night I'd drive home down the A30, and every night I'd stop at the Ferrari garage in Egham, all 1930's Art Deco, and lit up like Harrods at Christmas. I dreamed of what it would be like to be the sort of person who drives cars like that; what did they do, what kind of houses did they live in. How did they manage to find themselves in the position of, not just looking, but walking in and actually driving out in a car like that, almost certainly back to some beautiful country house. Would I ever be such a person? How would it feel? Well I can tell you. It feels fucking fantastic!! But, I will never forget where it all came from. It came from you guys, and I thank you all from the heart of my bottom. [Shome mishtake shurely!!]

Three Cheers for Ben!! I still laugh in the begining of 'London Calling' when Ben gets a real kick out of renaming Wendover to Bendover. Although I admit to being a tad annoyed he would take the name of the greatest ever album as the title.
