Do you have a source for that info? I googled AL and drew a blank, other than
the usual circular cross-references.
4WIW I'm guessing it's the French titling for 'Hot Business'....

Sorry. No present source.
Details I picked up on the web long time ago. But trustworthy none the less.
Don't know the origins of that title.

The release date I gave (is more or less dead on) and director name is I am sure 100% accurate and reliable.

You make reference that AGENCE LUBRIQUE may be HOT BUSINESS
I assume you are speaking about this title

Although I really can't offer proof or better evidence, I tend to believe they are not the same title.
HOT BUSINESS by the way is not a 1994 release. It was released prior to that date, at least 1993.
Both are Magma productions and directed by Moli.
Both were released in those titles in French versions more or less around the same time, so I do
not believe they are same identical product. The cast names were different as well.

Cast-names often differed in the Moli releases of Payet stuff. One year isn't
much of a gap- and I would have thought any French version of 'Hot Business'
would have had 'chaud' in it somewhere?
It's unlikely we'll ever be able to resolve this but I'm leaving the note as a
potential pointer.

Unfortunately I have not been able to find box covers of either movie
so it is difficult to make any further analysis, other than relisting the following tidbits:
=both appear to have been released in 1993. Neither of them was released in 1994.
=both to my knowledge were released in those titles in French versions (VHS)
=the cast names are what EGAFD and I have reported on, and which are quite different
=The running time (I don't know whether any of the two versions were in any way censored)
is different. AGENCE LUBRIQUE was about 80 minutes, and HOT BUSINESS was about 89 minutes.

Having said this, I am not that familiar with Moli or MAGMA product of that period as
the few titles that were released in North America were often censored in someway (due to
the presence of pissing, fisting, etc). Some titles dealing with religious themes (randy priests, nuns, convents)
did not easily make it across the North American continent either.
So was it a practice of Magma to release some of their movies in the same year with different titles, cast names or perhaps
even box cover art? I don't know from first hand experience, and will leave it to
the experts to resolve.

Going by my early experience with Your Choice VHS, the boxcovers often had English titles. I can't believe they weren't released with German [and probably
French] ones too.

I don't know what else to say, except to take note of the discussion we have been having about .
the Magma movie "SHOPPING ANAL" produced around that time:
=English title
=obviously shot in France (mostly in a supermarket)
=the version I recently saw was in German language (with weird cast names, at least for the ladies involved)
Do any other versions exist with different tiles or cast name?
