Studio Three - What a Great Studio!!

Post by Shopgirl »

Just thought I would post a little comment here about Studio Three, based in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.

I had a shoot here for a video and loads of stills for a non-adult shoot and would like to share the experience with you guys.

First of all there was a group of about eight of us who turned up and asked for everything from motobike set to a snow machine!! We were treated to an incredible service from these guys where nothing was too much bother.

Not only did they provide a professional attitude but also helped immensly with lighting, technical advice and even some great ideas for actual photos, they went far and beyond a normal studio hire and I would like to offer my sincere thanks for the fantastic day.

If anyone gets a chance they should book this studio for the day, the help that was given was second to none and their range of props and backdrops was great.

Thanks again especially to Jason and Darren who were brilliant.

A very cost-effective way of getting several scenes/photo sets in one day, highly recommended.

The studio is great. I have used the studio several times and the guys are great at the studio. Last shoot with Lauren Cox at the studio was brilliant.

Glad your shoot went well.

All the best,

Well Lauren - something of a surprise but I have the studio once again for us on Saturday. Yep - done a little bit of a deal so we can do a shoot there this coming Saturday. See you Friday.

I have worked at Studio 3 myself a couple of times and also give it a good thumbs up. It's great to have a dungeon set right next to a versatile lounge / bedroom or office type set, all in very close proximity.

I just wanna echo what everyone has said on here.

jason, Clinton, Darren and many others have given me help wen I have worked there.

The studio is no more than 30 mins drive for me, and when I get there, im always welcomed with a smile and a cuppa.

Tea always comes around every half a hour, sometimes more!!!

Brilliant changing facilities, brilliant props, sofas, dungeon sets, snow machines, infinity curves, you name it this studio has it.

The props are matched woith a fantastic range of lifgting, plus expert help on lighting tips, set up help (lets face it the owner should know the best set up - but how often is he willing to pass it on!!!) plus also a range of equipment you can hire.

Jason has done a fantastic job with this studio, which to be honest, wasnt much when it first opened.

The studio is constantly changing, offering new sets, colour schemes etc

Its now one of the best studios in the home counties, if not the best.

I would recommend this studio above any others I have used. And ive used a few.

Regards

Paul.

I cant get the image of just getting to the money shot and Mrs Overall / Mrs Doyle asking if I'd like a cup of tea with that, out of my head.

Of course if the male talent was flagging a bit, it might help to have Mrs D and her 'Go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on........'
