One offs are fine, I'm talking about naming and shaming when they keep doing it. Models do have off days and I have booked a model second time after being left down and it worked out ok, however they has to become a point when they need to know that us producers talk. Of course no naming and shaming on here isnt alowd thats why there is a thread on my forum, where you can say what you want.

Sandie - I'm sure everyone has a different opinion about who you can count on and who you cant, however I am sure you havent cancelled on the same producer 3-4 times and not rang, or e-mailed to let them know. No thats not you, that for the real time wasters.
How are you by the way, almost edited the scenes we shot and that are great, thanks again for your hard work.

Yeah I have got to agree with Paulonce yeah... but twice ? And to be honest the first time the reason was pure shit...

I had a shoot organised with another model and the whole motivation behind organising the shoot was to shoot girl girl... so when this model cancells the night before the shoot is ruined... I LOST money due to not being able to shoot the type of content the shoot was inteded for...

Is that fair SANDIE ? See this is what makes me laugh... The model doesnt think of the knock on effect it has... other models they are due to work with, the content the photographer needs for a client or project... other things like studio hire, make up artists... ect ect... the model as entered into a contract to do a job... yes a verbal contract at that... but hey maybe I should be suing her for breaking the contract

Her reason for cancelling the night before... she reckoned she was moving into a new house, apparerlently they had turned up to move into the new house with a van (all there stuff in the van) and the keys they had been given were wrong... as it was the weekend the estate agents were closed and they would have to wait till they opened on the Monday (the day of the shoot) to unload the van and wouldnt be able to make the shoot...

Now I got say that was quite original... never heard that one before lol... maybe thats why I gave her the benefit of the doubt... but it was funny as I had already moved that date for her due to her tellign me she had double booked by accident... sounds more like had a better offer !

This time around there was no excuse... maybe she's run out of original ideas... I gave her two dates the 14th or 15th May... she told me couldnt do 14th but was definetly up for 15th, I confirmed it with her and agreed a rate... was all confirmed then out of the blue get a text "can we change the date to the Friday or next week" lol in other words I been offered something else on the 15th so dont want to do your job now... fucking unporffessional !

She was coming in to work with another girl not the other way round... so I am suppose to change everything just to suit her, and with no guarantee she woudlnt change it again... so unproffessional ! How do some of these girls get work ? Maybe I should name and shame...

puretotty dont hold back, its time to get Harsh, some people think you will never stop it, but I think that if they know that theres somewhere to tell people they may think twice as cancelling for someone 2 or 3 times isnt on and they need to know that this decision can stop them getting future work.

Same goes from a models point of view for producers/photographers models need to know who to avoid and on my forum you can name them.

Also there are good model and producer sections and we all want to know about them too, whos good to work with etc...

Like I say I want it to be a database for all, but the bad things dont seem to be mentioned much, and on here you can't.

I could be wrong but all I want to do it to try and make people think more, we all have really really good reasons to cancel a shoot, but not 2 or 3 times and most the excuses are really bad, I guess I just reached the end of teather when the last time it happened.

The worst ones that need to be reported are the ones where they dont show at all and give no reason, excuses although sometimes poor and at the last minute canceled, you may not be able to find a replacement with short notice and loose out money wise, but at least you know not to set off to meet them.

The no shows and people who dont answer their phones are the real ones that need naming. AS excuses are just that, and could be true most of the time, but we have no way of knowing and it still leads to us not getting the shoot we had planned and these excuses always happen to happen when the shoot day approaches or even on the day itself.

For me almost 5 years in the business, I am fed up and believe I am doing right, whether people agree with me or not, I dont want to shit stir, cause trouble or even do this at all and hope I am not the only one who does, I hope others speak up too, not just on their own experiences but join in on a post of a model/producer that was named in a post by someone else if you have had the exact same with a person.

I think its better than doing nothing at all.

oh yeah i completetly agree there is a difference between a one of and somone who does it time and time again.

puretotty, i hate to break it to u hun but there is no contract. I have this on full authority as i checked it out with the CAB a while back. Its casual work so there are no contracts verbal or otherwise.
Im not condoning what this girl has done at all, i know it sucks.

LOL... Casual work Sandie... then why do you girls call yourself "proffessional" ? I find it funny you think the CAB would say this... I did however say it tongue in cheek... I have no intention of pursuing it legally... however I feel if someone issued a writ they would have a case... and certainly would get their day in court, even if not successful... I mean word of mouth is always scetchy at the best of times...

Oh fuck it I have no intention of ever workign with her again... she as not bothered to appologise or offer a reason why she as proffessionally let me down twice now... it's XXXXXXXXXXXX... I am sure wont come as surprise to anyone mind... I had three people message me and ask if it was her lol...

Totally unproffesional model... sure it wont stop people working with her... people are attracted to her due to the levels she does and her name, she as a great look, shame she as turned into a absolute flake...

Strange advice from the CAB Sandie given that only certain contracts have to be in writing to be legal, e.g. land deals and certain credit agreements.

However, no-one is going to persue a case legally given the nature of the contract, which is why models will always get away with it!

my forum does have to be private I want people to read to it, visitor or members.

There is a room APG that is hidden you cant see it unless you are a member, thats the only room I want hidden.
Everything else the good and the bad is all free information.
