I went a couple of years ago.
Never again.
I thought it was overpriced,over rated,ques too long and as soon as a girl got her tits out along came a bouncer to tell her to pop them back in again.
I was thinking os this meant to be an adult show?
And everybody got searched for cameras.but once inside they were everywhere! but as soon as a model posed for s hot once again along came the bouncers.
If you just like to buy a few toys then its great.
Other than that I thought it was shit.

Hey thanks to all those who have made comments... here is my view on it...

The Erotica show is not a porn convention... it's roots lie in swingers and fetish freaks who wear gimp masks, ball gags, and not a lot else ! Alas it seems that the organisers have moved towards mroe commercial end promotions and in turn a lot of the original Erotica Freaks no longer go...

I think the mix of adult and fetish dont really work... we do indeed need our own convention for porn... like AEE as someone else mentioned. Maybe a large event in the UK which mixes a exhibition and awards ceromeny would work...

I do seem to remember a show starting and not even making a second year... I know even shows like MaxPower fell by the wayside as there was just not enough interest/money in it for them...

The fact they were giving out the brouchers for this year in bags with 2008 should show the problems they are obviously having... And I dread to think how much stands must be for exhibitors and what kind of return they get on that investment...

The stage show this year was proberly the weakest I ever seen... No Masumi Max or Dita Von Tease big name talent this year... I will make a guess at the only people really making money are the caterers ! ?6.50 for a jacket potatoe !!! ok with Chilli granted lol

Will I go next year... yes, cause if I make one contact there, find one model, or even just see the latest sex toys and clothes for me to buy for my studio then it's worth the ?60 it cost me... lol

It did strike me during walking about yesterday that English people are kinky to the nth degree, but don't like to admit it. People say they don't want or watch porn, but the booths selling DVD were doing a lot of sales.

Still I wait for the day when I'd be able to go to a convention and see fans getting to meet the stars...and not have to spend 10 hours on a plane and go to another country to see it happening. Still it was good to see some booths with models at so fans could met them.

The thing that also makes me laugh, even though as I said it's not a porn convention is when stands hire girls who dont even get their boobs out...

I had a frustrating situation (as I do every year) where I went to speak to a model on one of the naughty stands, gave her my card, only then for her to tell me she doesnt get her boobs or bottom bits out... oh well !

I think british people are consrewed as stuffy about sex, but I think we're far from it... look at Uk porn stars like Cate Harrington and Lolly Badcock... lol hardly stuffy !

A lot of people do wait till the curtains are closed before they turn on the depraved dirty horny mode... but it's definetly there. I would say the US are more stuffy about sex, I know most of the hardcore is shot there, but there are so many bible bashing anti porn (George Bush) mentality people in the US it's unreal... yet some of the most depraved shit goes on both in the industry and also in homes...

I was a little disappointed with the lack of performers and the over abundance of lube (seriously, how much lube does any one person need....and do we really need 500 different types!).

I agree ,the stage show was not that brilliant. The girl in the bath tub full of glass went on far too long. It got to the point when im saying to myself. It looks like shes filling time. The fire breathing girls and the pole dancer were pretty good. girls looked awesome. great bodies and obviously look after themselves. Would love to know the history of the pole dancer. She had grace in her movements. Lots of strength as my girlfriend commented. I would guess as a child she was into gymnastics. Does anyone know of anymore shows like erotica in this country.
