Why no porn filmed in Scotland?

I noticed a while back someone said that there is virtually no porn filmed in Scotland. Why is this? Is it simply because most producers and performers are based down on England or some other reason?

The scenery is perfect for great outdoor shoots as i have done in the past up at Loch Ness and im sure there is plenty people like myself looking to do shoots so whats the issue?!confused!

Good question.....in my own case, though best known as a Euro
director, I shot a few years ago THE SECRET DELIGHT OF BARONESS
KINKY, a feature for Private Video in Scotland.
It was early December and not too many about. We had booked a
lonely manor house. Lets do an outdoor scene near the woods I
thought.....well, some poor old granny from the village - no doubt
using double binoculars - spotted the scene in the gloaming and
called the local police....that night as we were about to start the
full cast orgy in walked 2 local coppers, one of them female....
In 28 years of shooting porn its the only time the cops have turned
up !!
He was a lovely bobby and was sorry for barging in but it took ages
to get everyone relaxed again.....
I have not rushed back to the Trossachs for more scottish bum fun !
On a serious note - I think distances and perhaps the lack of local
talent put off producers....if girls or anyone lets you down its a bummer
to re-organise...

About 15 years ago I was given a VHS tape that ran for 3 hours. It featured a Scots lass and it was basically her travelling round Scotland with her boyfriend.

They would visit tourist spots and she would flash or strip off and play with herself, even sometimes guys joining in for a fuck.

I have always wanted to film something similar, but don't have a clue as to how much a girl would want as payment and then what girl would be prepared to do it.

It would be nice to film in my homeland. I know some brilliant locations.

Mainly because it is frickin freezing. Not that I was complaining as i was balls deep in a valley boning away in mid January.

What you should be asking is why there are no scottish producers...No jokes about being tight now people. There are scottish producers but they just happen to live in England now.

Sounds like Emily Butler, I got a pile of her videos, not all outdoors unfortunately.
Indeed her b/f did most of the filming the jammy b*****d.
I had a contact several years ago who either knew her or had a close friend who did and then she was down South. In her early days apparently she would do almost anything for a few quid.

There is one clip where she is in a park and gardeners are working and a sprinkler running. She get by the sprinkler and get soaked.
Another clip by a distillery where she is wearing skimpy pink dress and nowt else and then at Pitlochry by the salmon jump visitor centre.

I have another tape of a different older lady filmed on Isle of Wight over a few days. I don't know but get the impression it was a paid shoot / arrangement rather than the women and her partner.

I too have wondered how to find anyone who would do this at an affordable rate. A day out or better still a short break with someone like her would be fun even if at the end not that much photos / video there would be great memories too.

All the CCTV these days at even the smallest place and buses, trains etc makes anything like this much more risky except in open countryside !sad!

I've always wanted to visit scotland (being apparently half scottish on my mum's side) I even had a nice scottish maiden name ' Brown'

Never had the oppurtunity though - but if the price was right and the company was nice enough, I might be tempted to a short away break for a bit of highland filming !wink! as long as everything under the kilt was in perfect working order.....................
