Freelance editor here from the UK. Just putting it out there - I'm happy to cut together your movie for as little as ?20. Punchy edits or straight A to B cuts between angles. I'm happy to work on trailers & promos if needed.
I would require you to capture the footage and send it on USB/HD (to UK) but from there you can expect me to: Work on an edit, provide original music, include titles, intros & outros, montages and any special requirements within my capability.
Catches? If the final edit is larger than the flash drive you've sent I'll require another one from you. I will not be able to make you DVDs but I CAN make the elements of menus for you if you want, but they would be pretty basic. SD/Mini DV footage is preferred, in AVI or MPG format. I'm happy to fill out any forms regarding copyrights if you are able to send me print-outs beforehand or with your footage.
My usual turnaround is a day for a 5 minute piece. No more than a week for a 30 minute piece. No extreme or gay porn though please.
