Hi RGB,

Yes I agree - Streamate taking 30% commission from the performer, in line with other sites, is far too much.
I keep hearing though that despite this high rate of commission, Streamate is where the serious money can be made but until I manage to get on the site, I won't ever know if making serious dosh is a reality on Streamate!
I'll let you know as soon as I am able to start camming for them.

Hi Melody,

I also hate doing free chat for the reasons given but as we've noted, most sites insist on free chat apart from AW and imlive, after 120 hrs in free chat have been completed.
I like AW but I don't always get much traffic at variable times of the day/night, so during quiet times, I cam on imlive.com.

Yes 120 hrs is a long haul and they don't count the total number of hrs online, only those in freechat so the more paying clients attracted into private chat, the longer it takes to reach the 120 hr mark.
I've decided to aim at doing no more than 1 hr per day of free chat.
I refuse to do any sex talk( I charge for it on AW phone chat etc and elsewhere so why would I sex talk for free?) and obviously free chat/camming is none nude but there are so many who say " just show/flash your tits/ass/arse etc and then I'll go in private" - I then automatically kick them out of the chat room for coming out with this crap. Repeat offenders I permanently block.
I'll let you know when I finish my 120 hrs and I'm just doing private/paying camming on imlive.com.

Hi Caramel,

That's exactly how I feel about Streamate and I would have given up ages ago if I hadn't been told by different sources that Streamate's is where the dosh is! I may end up giving up on the site though if I don't get all sorted very soon and the customer/service help peeps aren't great in my opinion.
Which sites do you cam on?

i use AW and i've used live jasmin a few times i probably would have used it more had i not got pissed off uploading my ID lol

Hi Harmony,

I contacted Imlive via their customer service forum last night re charge backs and I put forward your suggestion of blocking the IP addresses of charge back clients. I received an automated style response,"We understand your frustration and please rest assured that we are doing our best to resolve this problem etc etc". As I have seen this same response on many occasions, I wrote back and said please don't send me another automated style response, just answer my question re charge backs being blocked permanently via their IP addresses. I then received another response saying that the suggestion will be put to the relevant department!
I really can't understand why Imlive wouldn't block cbs IP addresses,as they pay 50% of all cbs, it would be in their interests to do so.
Any further updates, I'll let you know.
