Well, Ok... So, what can I say Phil ?
Other than to reply with a long detailed list of my achievements... which would ultimately prove to be a pointless exercise...
I say that because at the end of the day, its all a matter of opinion, as you said, and if we all thought the exact same thing, the world would be a very boring place indeed...
However I'm glad that you understand that I wasn't slating Violet, or that I have any problems with her personally.
I never questioned, or even touched on most of the points that you raised, nor do I disagree with them either...
As I originally said, the reason for my first post, was to promote my site, and according to "sb2" its worked !

Phew! The things that happen when Alec's not here. All and all it's been a heated weekend in more ways than one. My final words on the main subjects:

1) Layla-Jade (sorry Krome, I'm chauvinistic enough to still believe in ladies first), as I said in my post I believe you. I like to believe that everyone who posts and contributes to this site is honourable and honest, truthful and trustworthy. And, sorry to disappoint any long-held racial stereotypes (we Scots aren't always on the make!), I will not need a free pass into your site as proof. Your word, even without sb2's confirmation, is good enough for me. If and when I decide to become a member of your site, I'll pay at the door, but thank you for your kind offer.

2) Krome, the debate involving you became something of a "get Krome" type affair, but that was not and is not my intention. Like the majority of people on this site I have valued your efforts and contributions. You can understand how the criticism arose when one aspect of your work showed teething problems. I'm sure the britishfantasy.com site will improve once those problems are resolved. My main gripe was centred on the lack of support within the site (not your's nor the webmaster's fault, I'm sure, but frustrating all the same). Anyway, I hope it's all water under the bridge and we can let the heated debate come to a conclusion.

Hope we're all still on the same side.
