Personally I don't think US models are particularly stunning - there are a few that are really lovely natural beauties such as Ava Vincent and Jassie but so many get spoilt by the overemphasis on blonde and silicon - on the whole I think Brit and European and Asian models are more stunning - but its all personal I suppose;

I just think the Jenna Jamesons of this world are greatly overrated - give me Claudia Jameson or our own Majella Shephard or Kelle Marie any day (or night).

You may find a USA firm may as a trial do such a film.

They could do it to see if such films would sell.

If it would then it may create a new wave of films.

The problem is, is that anybody can buy a decent DV camera and shoot a film that people will buy. This means that the world is swaped with porn - plus you can download so much for free from the net. Lets face it, I am sure if your were after a certain film, you could download it free today from the net or buy a copy from somone.

There is too much porn with too few buyers in the UK - and too few ways of selling it.

Untill the law changes and you can sell your own films direct without bothering to send them to the legal criminals (sorry film censor board - who are just in asking for over ?1000 to sit and watch your porn films you have made - hard job - I feel sorry for them), then I am not sure people will want to make such films.

And yes they may sell well, but chances are (at the moment) the film makers will not make the money, only the peaple selling it.

Old man the BBFC don't do it for money they do it for the good of the country and no-one in the UK is able to make up their own mind so they do it for you, why assault such an upstanding organisation by implying they are anything other than guardian angels for us all,

Yes I think familiarity can be one element that works for some people some of the time - I like sites like Simonscans for the girl next door look for example - but don't forget people also get turned on by fantasy and that part of that is fantasy about what they can't have. What turns people on is very complex and also changes as fashions and cultural attitudes change - I really like girls with piercings at the moment for example (though not exclusively), but 10 years ago you hardly saw that sort of thing and it was other things that I went for then.

I think the bottom line is variety is important - when I think about what turns me on in porn I always think what does it for me in my sex life as a whole - some times its nice to be really relaxed and sensual and take a lot of time; lots of foreplay, kissing and imaginative sex games, other times a quick, hard, spontaneous fuck in the kitchen is more fun, or outside, or in the shower etc - there are an infinate number of ways to express sexuality and I think there's a place for all of that in porn - what I don't want is for it to become sterile and unimaginative - thats what a lot of hollywood porn has become but it could happen here too if people get too stuck in a formula - "this is what brit porn is and what sells" - and fail to keep it fun and erotic. I think also variety means to engage people on a variety of levels - not just the groin and hand but also the feelings, the mind, the whole body etc - not all at once necessarily and not all the time but to have all those options available as a part of the director's pallete.
