Lord Porn's blue movies for the NHS
A peer's son who produces pornographic films says he is supplying them to NHS hospitals where they are being used to entertain the male clients of fertility clinics.
Jasper Duncombe, eldest son of Lord Feversham, boasts of providing the blue movies as part of a by-product of his company, Relish XXX, which claims to be one of Britains leading produces of 'high-class erotica'.

'We have been asked to provide copies to hospital sperm banks,' says Duncombe, 35, who started his film company, which is estimated to be worth ?3.5 million, shortly after legislation was passed which legalised the making of explicit adult films in Britain.

'We have to give these ones away free to the hospitals because by law this type of video can only be sold through licensed sex shops.

'We are are about to send out more because some of those that we supplied have become warped through overuse.

'I got a letter from my local hospital thanking me for my help, saying they were sure our films were the main factor in the increased patient productivity in their department.

'We did get one complaint that people were spending rather a long time in the cubicles and were asked to make shorter movies. They last up to one hour 20 minutes.'

Jasper says that the subject of his films are 'not serious', adding cheekily that one was called A Regular Practice - Trust Me I'm a Doctor and featured intimacy between doctors and nurses. The first video he made, To The Manor Porn, became a cult bestseller - the film's cover describing it as 'pure posh filth'.

Gordonstoun-educated Duncombe is not on speaking terms with his father, who is a respected figure in the Northern arts and heritage world and lives in a 150-room baronial pile in Yorkshire.

Of his odd choice of career Duncombe says: 'When I tell people at dinner parties I'm one of the largest producers of porn in the country, they think I'm joking.

'People have every right to find what we do shocking and I don't think adult entertainment should be pushed in people's faces.
'When we started, we thought we would take the UK porn industry upmarket, but that was nonsense. What people want is pretty full-on and we happily provide it.'

***notes
The correct title is 'Irregular Practice' not 'A Regular Practice'
