RAR Files Help

Theres a video clip I want to play but its an RAR file.

What software/program do I need for this and where can I download it for free? Apparently I also need DivX codec 4.12 which I think I already have but the file wont play on DivX player.

I tried a google search but ended up on a site that infested my machine with popups and the dreaded gator.

You need a program called "WinRAR", It's just like Winzip except it deals with RAR files.
