I have tried on a couple of occasions to get a serious Erotic Awards going. I know the team at Erotica are working on this and should get our support as I know what hard work it is. I am trying to create a UK Directory of Creative Erotica (My field of things) but it is very dificult finding people and even harder geting them to respond. Great Idea Phil,

It seems as though there are enough producers, models and industry moguels on this forum to start a genuine awards show.

You also have the added bonus of support from a huge amount of genuine customers like myself, who feel you guys are fighting for our right to watch and buy porn in the uk.

We don't need these fake assed people to flatter our egos. who are they anyway? I don't see them contributing to this forum and finding out what we want.

I'll be at the awards show and the ball itself on Saturday. I'll reserve comment until I've been and seen it for myself. What a shame there are some who leap to their unqualified opinions (to which they are not entitled) who are short on fact.

I've known people who have encountered the organisers of the ball and who vouch that they are very pleasent people. Maybe they were meeting them in a different context, I don't know.

But some of the anger in these posts troubles me. It isn't supposed to be like this!

Big deal if you're going to the ball, I take Phil's earlier comments as a man talking from experience. The reason for my last post was to support him in his idea to arrange an awards night, not to cause a fuss.

I'm not trying to add malice this forum, but the whole idea of areas on the net like these is to be able to speak your mind and have a view. If people like you keep getting sensitive about it, there will have to be another forum for those that want to moan about people having views and opinions on forums.
