Case in point....Video bargains being offered at bargain basement prices to shift the stock...perfect example being
Videos for $AUS19-00 and DVD for $AUS29-00 or more

Wether Videos & Magazines are both dieing at the same rate is debatable

...as these guys could steal away all your custom if your prices go up any further.

Thank Deuce, that's great link.
$19.00 Aus dollars, btw, to those who don't know, is ?7.80 GBP for a DVD.
Interesting comparing the prices per title:

Australia

?7.80

UK

Go to bottom of page, see highlited title
?29.50

I'm sure there's a legit reason behind the difference, and I'm not out to shit stir - I've bought lots of great things from Your Choice - just thought you'd all be interested.

Watch it with these Oz sites: as Buttsie will tell you, only some of them ship ex-Australasia, and p&p can be correspondingly high.

Very true JJ...at least those that do deliver overseas usually state that unlike most OZ outfits who seem to be shooting themselves in the foot marketing wise

I tried asking this firm(on behalf of a forumite who's emails they were ignoring)r wether they delivered to the UK and got the distinct impression that they were a small backyard outfit that hadn't even considered delivering overseas.I didn't get a definitive yes or no either way
Overseas buyers beware

Having said that everything I've bought from them has been excellent
quality

Thats the price of VIDS not DVDs...they start at $AUS29-00 all the way up to $AUS69-00(thats without postage what ever that might be for overseas delivery

Prices in Australia have always been cheaper than Overseas
and when you factor in all the extras that Yourchoice have to accomodate
into the equation(bgafd, egafd) its a little unfair to compare

No different to some of the bargain basement prices being offered by the USA DVD companies IMHO(PAL v NTSC aside) that have bugger all over heads compared to the big boys that have extensive info on their websites

One of the main players in Australia hinted a while back that there were pirate operations that looked legitimate that were under cutting the entire industry.Maybe my link is one of them
Given how they're website has changed twice in 3 years there might be some truth in it

I've had no trouble ordering vids from those Oz outfits that do export- and p&p/delivery times compared well with the US. The extra p&p is more than compensated for by the lower price per unit.
Felt weird to be ordering Private titles from there, that I couldn't source in Europe.....oh, and watch their Euro fist stuff- there are usually caveats on the sites to the effect that such may be censored, although B probably is better-informed about this than I am.

But thats the problem-which ones do and which ones don't
They don't say on their sites even when they do In my experience
and if they do they don't quote postage rates

Might have something to do with the Piracy being out of control in Australia
if you believe the article stealing sexual copyright under current news at

No idea about censorship...run by a bunch of pontificating sexually repressed idiots

cheers
