I am James Conroy of JJ Features. I have read your posts with great interest. Has your friend, the 6'3" girl I am dealing with, come back to you yet to confirm that everything is indeed above board? I would like to correct you on a few points. 1. At no time did I ask to meet up with anyone and I would like to know where you got that information from. 2. I did NOT ask for pics of the girl. Again, this seems to be a product of your imagination. In fact, the story you have concocted makes you worthy of being a Feature Writer yourself. I use many sites to find interesting case studies and stories for the vast majority of women's true life magazines and major tv production companies. I am currently looking for a super fit family for Wife Swap if anyone knows anyone! Please inform everyone you have contacted about myself and JJ Features and inform them that I am a respectable and professional Feature Writer, highly respected within the magazine industry. I do not ask to meet up with people and the interviews are conducted over the telephone. Any pictures required are taken by the magazine's photogrpahy department or posted. Whilst I praise your wary approach to women dealing with strangers via the internet, I would ask you to perhaps conduct a little sensible research yourself before scaremongering and printing statements about individuals and companies that are on the verge of being a matter for my libel lawyer.

Just what exactly have I said that is libellous? I dont intend to apologise for anything because I havent done anything that warrants an apology so if you wanna contact your lawyer go for it and I will see you in court. As for your comment about being "a respectable and professional Feature Writer, highly respected within the magazine industry" I will have to take your word for it cos I dont know you from jack.

What I am prepared to say is that on speaking to my friend she has stated that you have given her details of magazines you have worked with which she has checked out and that it will be done over the telephone (do the magazines realise that you are giving away up to 500 quid of their money to someone you have never even met and have only talked to over the phone??).

If you have nothing to hide then I dont see why you are getting so tetchy, however, take a step back and appreciate just how "dodgy" it all looks to an outsider - all I was doing was asking on the board if you were known to others to make sure nothing untoward happened to my friend.

I failed to mention that I did not offer the girl ?500. I stated that the magazines pay up to ?500 for the true life stories they buy. There is no guarantee at this stage that her story will sell, although she has already been in Bella magazine which gives me some confidence in her story selling again to the younger women's mags.
