More concerning is the Trisha show's agenda - and many talk shows come to that - as evidenced by the tone of the original appeal by 'researcher'.
"Are you going through problems because of the industry" etc etc.
Never, ever, ever a positive word to say about the industry, those in it, and consumers of it.
It's assumed people in the industry are there as a 'last resort' and they all need help to get them out of it.

I look forward to this edition of the show proving me wrong... but, alas, I fear it won't.

Aahh, the 'Trisha' show - pikey TV at it's best. And they pay her a fortune. I saw her house [sorry, that should be mansion - with indoor Roman pool] in some 'lifestyle' mag once. Bloody unbelievable. Another sorry case of the TV industries' 'positive discrimination' policy gone madly wrong. I've got a subject for the 'Trisha' show:-

"Should talentless no-hopers be paid vast amounts of money to host their own 'issue based' talk shows, just because they happen to black - in a laughable attempt to show how right-on the 'meedja' is?"

Related Topics: See also - Trevor McDonald,

The bloke in a wheelchair off kids TV - Black AND disabled, with 'dreads'!! [only a 'Full House' in TV land. If he's also gay, that's a Royal Flush, which basically means you can't NOT be on TV - it's part of TV law!!] but sadly no talent other than inane grinning, and being able to do that wheelchair dance thing between the programmes on BBC.

Oh and by the way don't start - All the black people I know agree with me.

And another thing - nip it in the bud - I can see a post approaching: "Should talentless balding old twats be allowed to make vast amounts of money by wandering around aimlessly with a video camera making ludicrous lewd comments to young girls before sticking his finger up their arses and encouraging a Belgian with a perrennial boner to 'fuck her harder'"?

FYI [a] I've never claimed to have any talent, apart from being, frankly, a bit of a shit hot drummer. Unfortunately no-one wants to pay me for that!!

I don't make vast amounts of money. I do however pay vast amounts of tax.

Sounds great, I might be up for getting set up to look like a prat and then patronised by a bunch of Telly Toff folk, before being ridiculed in front of a bunch of fat people in a studio audience!

A recent court case....

Post by JackHorny »

I read about in The Times last week centred around the "TRISHA" show - To paraphrase the judge, I believe he summed it up as "the worst example of daytime TV".

The article went on to discuss the psyche of attention seekers who wish to seek their five minutes of fame by subjecting themselves to this sort of humiliation. Five minutes of fame and an all expenses paid night out in a norfolk hotel! Smashing!

I personally question the psyche of those who find this humility parade "entertaining"!

What had actually happened is one kid had punched another kid during recording of the show... a "head punch" - as described by the article. It ended up in court. The article explained that the paternity argument and subsequent punch up was nothing that you don't find in any local pub - the only difference is they are settled, done and dusted without recourse to the courts... However, Trisha invites you to come and have your dust-up on the show - get it recorded on film and then, hey presto, you have evidence to make you "no win, no fee" claim...

There was also some satirical discussion with regard to the production team meeting - "do we or do we not show the head punch?"
I retired when I sadly realised nobody wanted me!

Sorry Dave, I fear you may be out of the running. Last time I saw you, you had teeth - no good for Trisha. And unless you get that old shell suit out of the bin, it's a no-no buddy. Also your tattoo quotiant is WAAAAAY too low. Especially around the knuckle area. I'm afraid there's worse to come; You also earn a living for yourself, [not good for daytime TV] and don't clog up the post office on a Thursday morning cashing your benefit cheques for you and your 17 children, all from different fathers/mothers [delete where applicable] before moving seamlessly to the One Stop to buy 20 Superkings and a 4 pack of that lager in the purple can which turns you into a gibbering imbecile in about 3 minutes. Sorry.

No Ben Luvvy, you've got all wrong, we in TV want to help you put accross your side of the argument for porn! We wont pay you of course, because we've got to have a contingency in our budget for dinner at Quaglino's for the next twenty years. You have nothing to fear from us, OK we all met at Cambridge and all had jobs waiting at the Beeb and Channel Four when we left. But we love you Porno people, you're so, how can I put it, RUDE and naughty, we find you absolutely fascinating, but don't get too close because we might catch something!

Youv,e all been a tad harsh on 'Tracey' she,s only doing her job.

Tracey! I,m Ben Dovers 'love' child, Liz Dover.
He abandoned me and my mum when I was 3, I still remember his last words to me "I,m not cleaning that shit up" then out the door he went, jumped into his Ford Anglia, and left for richer pastures! (we had a card from Hull)
Am I bitter? yes of course, but you have to move on!
I now run my own business, manufacturing thinline incontinence pads for the larger lady/man, so in a way Iv,e come full circle....
Obviously if you wish to use me for the programme, I will have to be disguised, but I,m willing to talk, if the money,s right.
