He does have a new U.S. deal, so there will be stuff in the pipeline,

Fortunately he has served his hard time in pornodia, so the man at the top of the tree does not have sucjh a rigorous schedule, howver I know he works like a bastard behind the scenes, keeping the line going..

Something to ask you Marino, on the subject of Mr Dover:- (as someone who would know) is he often recognised and stopped by fans?

I've often thought that he's probably more famous than a lot of media 'celebrities' (with almost no mainstream TV or media exposure.) Almost everyone (male or female) under thirty can name at least one British porn star- Ben Dover.

He paid a visit to my University a few years back, when I was a student. Very entertaining, very friendly, hadn't seen any of his stuff then but was impressed by him.

The first ever scene I saw (wasn't it from Ben Dover vol 1?) was with the gorgosity that was Melanie Rowan, I remeber picking up a tape from "Albatross" (anyone from Essex remember them?) probably 10 years ago now, in my opinion one of the best he has EVER shot.

He is often reckonised by the nonce police as he slows down past the local girls school.


He is well known, but strangly enough is treated as a huge star more so in the states.
But he is known throughout the celeb cirlces, though he likes staying in with his wife an kid, rather than party.

I think Ben is still turning out some great films, certainly his last 5 or 6 have been as good as the early ones. I think it would be easy to turn out sub-standard product for Ben and people would still buy it, but thankfully his films still have a certain freshness about them which is pretty unrivalled in British porn.
Just out of interest can anybody tell me what their least favourite Ben Dover films are, has anybody watched a Ben Dover film and not enjoyed it??
