Sorry mate, he came here to fight no-hoper Julius Francis in January 2000 where apart from destroying Francis, also popped Frank Warren after Warren questioned Mikes purchasing of Jewellery from Bond Steet and passing the bill onto him

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

I had a mate who went to live in San Diego. Met a bird, married her, got a green card and started a business there of which he sunk his life savings into. He worked like a trojan to, and did make it successful.

This is where the gold digging bitch saw her opporunity. She decided to leave him and went to the Dept of Immigration with her solicitor saying that it was a marriage of convenience (which it wasn't) and that they only got married for a green card for which he paid her.

In return for immunity she pledged to confess all.

Outcome. He got deported and she got the business as he wasn't allowed to return to the states for at least 5 years. He wasn't even allowed back in the country to fight for his business in Court.

Nice place eh!

My mistake, Ace, and good catch. I couldn't remember the fight at all, but I do remember him lording it around the UK despite his criminal record.

Hmm. A friend of mine did go for the convenience wedding thing. Luckily, he was a complete psycho and binned his wife who was too scared to grass him up.

He's still there, on wife number three. And he's grown a mullet to fit in better.

Yeah I remember that. He bought a ring for about a million quid and thought that as Frank Warren was his promoter then he should pay for it.

When he quite rightly refused, Tyson twatted him.

Charming!

My mate didn't go for the convenience wedding thing though.

He was genuinely in love with her. You could tell. All he used to do was talk about her and you could see that the way he ran around around after her all the time.

But then he wouldn't ge the first person to be screwed over by the opposite sex.

Fair play to him. He's come back here and built up another business and done well although he is still single and very wary of the female persuassion.

I also recall Iron Mike fighting in Glasgow and the fight nearly getting scapped because of his rape conviction

Once bitten, twice shy. My mate, on the other hand, was with a girl so dumb he was able to score a bird in a bar, screw her in a field and go home covered in lipstick, lady juice and straw and tell her it was just him and the guys horsing around.

Shocking.

From memory the guy he fought was Lou Savarese and he knocked him out in the 1st or 2nd round I think.

Yeah a politician kicked up about it. No doubt trying to get publicity out of it and hit the moral high ground over it all.

But I remeber thinking at the time, money talks.............

And it did, suprise, suprise.

Think that was the last time Frank Warren brought him over. Said something about not being wired up right.
