How is a model doing porn against the feminist movement? In fact it is one of very FEW professions where the women out earn the men who do the same job!!! That should please feminist!!

As with any industry it has the negative side from negetive people but haven't we learned not to paint such wide strokes over things, issues and people.

Lastly, if you feel so strongly about this... why come to a place where folks meet to look, talk about and generally admire women who do porn?? A wanna-be who wasn't perhaps?

I believe that the advent of internet porn and the (sort-of) legalisation of HC has helped women. Two people going at it ten to the dozen is more about equality than some girl posing around in 80's topshelf mags which get cut up and stuck on the factory wall to be oggled at. Glamour mags make women an object of desire rather than 50% of a fantasy enactment. There is a sense of equality about full blown hardcore and for the record my girlfriend agrees. We share our thrill of watching other people getting it on but live ordinary (and successful) lives inbetween.

As with all discussions, there are exceptions (see any of the Rocco threads) but recent changes are a step forward for women.

I do tire slightly at the transparent nature of people like yourself, Julie, who are clearly lacking in the attention of others and so chose to come to a place and say something that will obviously be contested by the majority who are there. The subsequent replies to your posts give you that meaningless and pathetic attention you so desire, however you end up making yourself look a bit silly, petal.

Thing is, wrapped up in your shoddy point (which you delivered very poorly if I may say) is a good issue worth a look - is porn degrading women? I'd say in some cases - yes. Not conciously maybe, but who can say that Max Hardcore or Rocco pushing the head of a girl down the toilet and flushing it before he orgasms over her face is a celebration of female independance and dominance? In certain quarters the porn world is sadly primitave. It's obsession with anal sex is another male driven aesthetic stronghold which gets irritating. Well, it bugs me anyway.

On the whole though, I'd suggest you stop playing the victim, Julie, and stop dwelling on the worse case scenario. The peeps who contribute to the forum regularly here are fine examples of lovely people. The majority of 'girls' who work in porn are doing so as a positive choice to do something different and explore their sexuality openly - a choice you would apparently deny them.

That's all I have to say - other then a quick tip for sending messages - your point would be made far better if you could stop yourself insulting half of the people you are hoping will reply to you.

Matt.

PS What's for dinner tonight?

Can't help thinking there may be a bit of a giggle going on when Julies Email is "juicyjulie2001"!!! Not that a cheeky nickname means you are a porn star or the like but also hardly the name of a hardcore feminist wearing Clarks Naturetrecks waving a banner (stereotyped for humourous purposes before you kick off, Julie!!!). Then again for something to be funny or ironic is has to be..... er..... funny or ironic, so I still don't get it.

'all the sad guys who are in here every night get a life a real women is better than any video'

Assumption 1. 'in here every night', how do u know? u must be in here every night to know that people are in here every night.

'women is better than any video' - at least videos don't answer back, especially with the sound off.

A point that might be close is that porn can give u a sex life (without it - some people might not have one). There is a certain percentage of porn bought by couples.

Exploitation is a 2 way street. Men are exploited by porn (lust - I need to get off, my hormones dictate that I want u, u have attracted my attention, so what now?), and women are exploited, they are used to make porn (the difference in price between what they think they are worth and what they get paid is the exploitation) - this is part of the consumer, capitalist society.
