It sounds rather twee and patronising to say this, but the best advice I can give you is to stay strong, believe in yourself, and rise above such cretinous activity. You have justified yourself well, bravely IMO, and I don't think many of us here on BGAFD will dispute or question your integrity.

Get together with good friends and have a good night out. Don't worry, and don't dare shed a tear over the bastards trying to bring you down!

I don't know you, but I say this as a fan.

Take it easy.

Hey Isabel,

It appears to me that all this stuff floating around about you is clearly and precisely what we all seem to think it is, CRAP.

Any profession has it's fare share of jealous, back-biting shit-mongers, who when faced with somebody they perceive as a threat, start to lash out, especially when it comes to a successful individual like yourself (how many U.S. vids for goodness sake!) and it strikes me that it is exactly this that is going on in your case.

I couldn't agree more with Fudgeflaps and Leaky in the supportive things they've said, personally, I know you only for your performances and the brief interviews beforehand(!) and you ALWAYS come across as a warm, sweet and intelligent human being - so don't let those lie peddling idiots out there wear you down!!

Remember this, if you allow the bastards to make you cry, then they've won - besides, they simply aren't worth the effort!

So keep being strong and resolute - eventually this will all blow over.

Be happy petal!

pagangod.

Thanks very much Joe, that was much appriciated, and thanks to Luke for putting up my reply.

At DanG... It's sad that people feel the need to slate other people, and one thing I don't understand about the British industry is that everything just seems to get blown out of preportion.

I think the reason why my name got dragged into this is because I had a conversation with someone on the phone who called me to ask if Rocco was letting people work with false tests, and of course this is a compleatly unfounded accusation as well.

(Think how many people who work for/ or have worked for Rocco over the years... Do you think Jazz Duro, Steve Holmes, Manuel Ferrara, Jane Darling, The numerous girls from Vivid, Jewel D'Nyle would work on his sets if there was a problem with tests?) Regardless of what people think of Rocco, he is the most famous active director/performer at the moment, and he would lose SO much money if he did a stupid thing like that. I then said, in Rocco's defence, that I had been unhappy about one of the tests, (because of the language) and he checked over it with me, assured me that it was fine, and then when I returned, he even went out of his way to send me the next fresh test of this performer, just so my mind was compleatly at ease... How many directors do that for their performers??

Then suddenly, it's gone from Rocco looking out for me, to 'Oh My God, someone's got HIV, and all the performers should be quarentined.'
I still have not heard of any list, or any positive performer.

I think people just love to cause scandel, and also people love to believe scandel to. The ammount of rubbish I hear coming out of people's mouths is amazing. A friend of mine has her 'No' list, and everyones entightled to one, but her reasons for the list all revolve around... 'Well, I don't work with him because someone told me this...' or 'Oh No, I can't work with him, he did this....' and I always think to myself, it's funny how those are the 'good' people.... are you sure someones not spreading lies to hurt their career. When I mentioned this, she thought about it a little more carefully, and agreed.

I just hope now, that there is no truth in this

Isabel..

I have just sent you an email and glad I could help... As Lukes site is the largest gossip site over the pond, you don't need to have that seen by people you've worked with in the past, and will do again in the future as well as prospective new producers...
