Ha. having gone all the way to Copenhagen to get shot in action with my g/f in '77 it emerged that they did professional shoots using a studio in Stevenage also used by Private. I can recall seeing quite a few English locations in Colour Climax etc around that time, including a pub I used near Wellingborough, now closed, and a hotel on the old A1 around Hatfield that had very distinctive internal decor with very heavy old beams etc where some of the action had clearly taken place in the corridors etc. Checking scenes shot in bars around that time you will find a fair few are shot in English pubs. My g/f who was my ex g/f by that time featured in a few of them. She is not BGAFD listed as far as I know, and doesn't want to be.
