!hmmm! I come into my office to get away from nagging....now I'm getting it here as well!laugh!

Ideally, I like to book models who are on the late night TV channels (so that I know they can talk on camera!) and/or are on the BGAFD database so that they are on a DVD or two and people will know them. I'm interested in personality as well as looks and I can't tell that from someone sending me a photo.

The girls I've enjoyed working with most are those I've already met socially or on other peoples' shoots because the ice is already broken and it's easier to develop a rapport. For some reason, friends of Faye Rampton have been some of my favourites.

The ones that don't work so well are the heavily managed/chaperoned girls where I don't get a chance to develop a rapport with the model because the boyfriend is sitting behind me making me nervous. In fact, if the model has come to my place I always now ask the chaperone to wait outside in the road !adolf!

I DON'T do "photographer interaction" and if I can't be trusted then the rapport thing doesn't work.

Oh, and the other thing is I'm right down on the south coast, so it's often not worthwhile for a model north of London to make a special trip for a solo girl shoot.

There are exception to all this and that is where I've been talked into it because I'm a soft touch.

I hope that explains my booking philosophy. I'm back off to the pub now!drink!
