They had some delivery problems, heard the complainets, then adjusted their site accordingly so you can see when things are in stock and how long it will take to get to you. That may be a lot of things, but it's not crap.

That's bollocks. They were crap when I used them a year ago, but I eventually got my stuff so decided to give them the benefit. Even the telephone number on their site doesn't work, they don't want to deal with customers in real time and a week to answer an email is piss poor.
You are clearly either on their payroll or off your rocker - twat!

I agree - total crap. I ordered a video from them at the start of October. According to their website it was in stock. After hearing nothing for 2 weeks, I emailed them and finally received a reply a week later, saying that it would be despatched "soon". A week after that I got an email telling me that my order had been authorised and was soon to be sent out. It finally arrived last week - 6 weeks after ordering an "in stock" item. I had been pre-warned about them, but they were the only place I could get the video I was after (Shawna & Michelle - Rebekah Jordan's first video)

On the other hand, I use AdultDVDnow and have nothing but praise for them. Average time for orders to arrive is a week, the record is 3 days from ordering to having the discs in my hand!. They are based in San Diego, I don't know where Vidshop are based, but I'm pretty sure it's a lot closer to the UK than California!

How can a video be out of stock. Customers copies are copied from a tape held by one of the various agents in the UK. The same system as your choice and others. Surely it could only be out of stock if it was an original item bought in units from a third party. For videos they just buy masters and dupe the customer copies from them.

I think it should be made clear this is the UK site you are talking about, they have a Dutch and USA site ( I have ordered from the USA site and the goods are shipped from California)In the UK like most companies they use agents, perhaps then need more to cope with demand,or better agents.
Another good site is but the goods are sent from the USA , but more and more of us seem to be using suppliers from the USA and without problems I may add.

Mr. Magoo seems the fellas here are ordering dvd's. I think there is no quick/easy/cheap dvd duplication equipment available to the common mailorder retailer.

You are not correct.If you check the site, you will see they do sell origional items from 3rd parties, they have Videos on there from Harmony ( Under Evil Angel and Hustler) Redeem, Private,Hot Rod ( Wicked and New Senasations etc, etc, perhaps if they did it the way you say, they would not have so many problems.
