I?m still having no joy with Hotbox. Just a still pitcher and audio. I know there?s nothing wrong with my connection or my setting. Been through them time after time. Its kid of annoying to know it?s a great show but not see it. Plus Renee is on tonight and I was waiting for that in particular.

FINALLY tuning in tonight after problems last week with erroneous login numbers to pay via SMS on Strictly Broadband.

Fair play to Strictly Broadband, earlier this week they sent me two new numbers via texts and I've managed to watch the entertainment tonight.

It's well worth signing up to, I can tell you with the gorgeous Renee and Cathy on top form. There's plenty of GG and BG action.

If only the mainstream TV porno channels offered this hardcore stuff - which is what we all want, I think, things would be so much better.

Maybe that'll be the case in the not too distant future - I mean, it is 2008 after all!!!

Not sure if this will help but it sorted the same problem for me when viewing with Windows Vista on Firefox

Right click on the player screen left click on plug-ins then options, then click on performance tab & check the Detect connection speed (recommended)

This cured the problem on both my Vista lap top & desk top.

Hope this helps

I have actually already done that but thanks anyway. I actually saw about an hour of last nights show it started working after about half 12. I think it?s just the first hour or so it freezes.

I had a look-in last night. A couple of problems early on with buffering, picture was O.K. but content was excellent. After watching Sportxxx last week and reading about TVX's latest live offering, then there's no contest really. A sharper picture and you're there.

Hi

When I first bought tickets I had some freezing going on. I asked my mate about it and apparently it was probably due to my PC running too many programs at the same time.

I was told to close every program except windows media player and the website and see if that fixed it. I did! I've never had a problem since and I have a 1Mb internet connection.

Later I noticed that windows uses 100% cpu on windows media player. That explains why when I shut all my other programs that it worked ok.

Ever in the hope that Michelle Thorne is on!

I normally have 2 laptops on the go most times. Could this be a problem for my connection to hotbox.

Yes it could be. Depends what programs you have running and getting data from the internet. But try turning off one of the laptops and only running HotBox on the other one. It's almost definitely due to the laptop not being fast enough to run windows media player - so close all the other programs and let the laptop power concentrate on running windows media player.

Regarding the internet - I did some research myself (well, asked my mate again!) and he said most peoples internet connection is contended which means that if there are many people in your area on the internet that use the same provider (BT, Virgin and the likes) then your speed can be reduced - but he also said that watching video off the internet is not really a problem for todays internet connections that are 1Mb and above.

So, try closing those other programs first.
