It was used some years ago as the location for one of the later Death Wish films.

I remember having to be very discrete, blanked out windows, nobody to nip outside in a state of undress, but it was very difficult to get the girls to scream quietly in the BDSM shoot I did.

Hadlow tower is not scarey!!! I've been there to film a lot of times. I like the owner and I like working there its fun. Just cause there's not a lot of light, doesn't make it scarey. THe baths the best!

I didn't say scary, but it, like a lot of gothic buildings, can look creepy in the dark.

Just 2 words :-

STUDIO JANNOR

Norman & Janet were the most unlikely studio owners,
somehow despite the 60's/70's feel of the place, and the creaky floors,
and ancient flashheads etc... everything turned out top quality.

Norman & Janet RIP ..much missed.

I meant to reply to the first post in this thread months ago so this is really for the attention of Max. I am just wondering if this place is the one i'm thinking of? If this house had a number on the door or gate would it be 151 and is the property close to a hospital in this south coast town?

You might be right Kyle. I always wondered why the full address appeared on this particular DVD, when most of these places will be anonomous. Is it creepy inside? It certainly looked like it was from the outside!
