Cheap and cheerful can work well, but on the other hand give me artsy-fartsy any time - a superb example is Kendo's
Smoke DVD, with the gorgeous Angel long, Renee Richards, et al.

the Dr Neil Down stuff isn't that popular judging by comments on here over the years. However, few would deny that the quality of the girls was usually top notch. The Dr series included a few girls who according to the listings did nothing else at all on film or very little and also had some girls who did very little b/g work like amanda dawkins.
But too much flexing muscles and the camera on the doc and phil too long instead of the girls puts many off.
Kendo's work is in a style of its own, many films have no dialog, just music background, think he may have shot " thedemise of renee richards", cannot remember any vocals on that, looks like a kendo film.

To be fair The original Dr Neil Case books were not that great. Teen Search and up your alley and far superior.

i saw some tv show looking at the early days of tvx and adult channel. suggestion was that dr neil films were partly the idea of adult channel, if so one of the few early shows also filmed with r18 versions. Don't think neil down had done many films prior to dr neil series.
