I think they produced some very good films at least when they weren't focused on girls who wouldn't otherwise have done porn. Where they relied on mainstream porn actresses the end product is much better. The likes of india summer etc don't spend half the scene looking off-camera. Obviously it's not a coincidence that these films tend not to involve chaplin in an 'acting' role.
